I assumed someone came out last week and fixed this ongoing problem because it was quieter. Now, it sounds like a loud gun shot all day and night. This needs to be resolved immediately. It is louder than ever, whatever was "fixed" came loose and made this thing 10 times as loud. I will be following up with a call to Mayor Dolan to make sure it gets done as well as this has been ongoing for over a year.

This was report back in February, yet nobody has come out to fix this. Rob Dolan really need to be made aware at the lack of concern for this issue. Please fix this loud manhole cover PERMANENTLY. All night LONG we hear this banging when cars are parked in front of the Undercliff Terrace. I will be reporting this to Rob Dolan.

Looks like I will have my attorney contact Mayor Robert Dolan himself.. You have had a year to fix it and failed. The thing is louder than ever and is now a noise complaint that has not been properly attended to for over a year. You also lied on Twitter (@MelroseDPW) in December about speaking to the person who began this, that was me. Nobody spoke to me in person about anything regarding this. Get it properly fixed permanently, I am not going away nor am I moving, or I will take this as high as I can go including with Mayor Doaln or the court systems. You can ignore my requests all you want but I will just keep coming back. What shoddy work you do. I don't pay this much in real estate and taxes to hear this all day. It took almost one year before the first guy came out to take a look at the thing and rotate it. Now, a year later, the thing is louder than ever when cars are parked along the street. The thing is making banging sounds in my neighbor's bathroom. The thing was re-installed POORLY. Be prepared to hear from me and my colleagues soon again! I don't pay taxes for fun. John V.
